Purpose/Scope of Role: The On-Premise Manager, Illinois will lead superior execution in the On-Premise across Illinois and leads the attainment of the market level channel plan. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for assigned regional influential customer accounts. In addition, this role will coordinate a team of outside agency specialists assigned to region. This person will lead in the communication and own the execution of the channel initiatives / plans across the market.

- Wiring across functions (Performance, Activation, RGM, etc.)

Role, Key Responsibilities:
Primary salesperson for pre-identified Regional Accounts within the market. Responsible for growing points of distribution of key Flight Plan brands and selling Diageo brands into Top 3 Serves on Permanent Menus
Build and own Diageo’s On-Premise plan in specified market in conjunction with the Regional Director On-Premise and distributor teams
Accountable for actively identifying and communicating gaps/opportunities of the channel plan to their respective Regional Director On-Premise.
Work cross functionally to assist in the local allocation of resources, such as trade, A&P, and incremental spending
Collaborate with central On-Premise Strategy and Marketing Managers for any market needs and opportunities, and be the overall in-market field expert to the central On-Premise team
Accountable for key must win account relationships in region
First point of contact for any issues/challenges/opportunities at the market level
Communicates all channel programming/initiatives to local teams to ensure understanding & gain feedback

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience CPG sales experience
- Direct On-Premise customer selling experience preferred
- Experience in direct buyer/decision maker across Multi Unit outlets preferred
- Distributor/Broker experience/management a plus
- Expected to be extremely self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Strong organizational, communication and influencing skills are required
- Experience working across a diverse beverage alcohol distributor network preferred
