Overview
The SAP S4 Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of SAP S4/HANA implementations, processes, enhancements, and upgrades. This role involves leading development and support teams, ensuring the successful operations of SAP solutions that meet business requirements. The SAP S4 Technical Operations Vice President Lead will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, configure, implement, and operate steady-state SAP S4 solutions, while also providing technical guidance and support. Location Requirement Miramar Florida.

The SAP S4 Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of SAP S4/HANA implementations, processes, enhancements, and upgrades. The SAP S4 Technical Operations Vice President Lead will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, configure, implement, and operate steady-state SAP S4 solutions, while also providing technical guidance and support. Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the day to day technical solution design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S4/HANA functional process solutions and capabilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
- Oversee the development and integration of landscape and SAP solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate and partner effectively across a matrixed organization of internal technology service providers (Infra, Security, Data, QA)
- Provide leadership and set priorities to a team of developers and technical consultants.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP S4/HANA operations and implementations.
- Coordinate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions with other business systems.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and product roadmaps and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the SAP environment.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of SAP solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the development of project budgets and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Graduate Degree Preferred in business, engineering, or technology, or other relevant field)
- At least 15 years of IT leadership experience in a large scale IT organization or relevant experience as a CIO in a smaller enterprise
- Experience with direct management of a diverse technology team covering multiple functions within
- Experience leading or being part of leadership during an IT transformation
- Knowledge of digital concepts, standard IT governance models, various project delivery methodologies, technology organization design, and establishing key performance measures
- Passion for diversity, inclusion, and belonging
- Strong presence in the community representing SGWS
- Experience successfully leading and delivering enterprise level, multi-million dollar, highly complex programs
- Travel required up to 50% of time
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Deep Knowledge & Certifications in SAP modules, such as FICO, MM, SD, and WM
- Experience in the wine and spirits, food and beverage, or distribution industry.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA configuration and customization.
- Knowledge of SAP FICO, MM, SD, WM, and IM modules.
- Experience with SAP Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (WRICEF) objects.
- Knowledge of iDocs, Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI's), and SAP PI/PO.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, QGM, and ChaRM.
- Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Structure (OOPS).
