
Total Wine & More is seeking a Sr. Associate, Fleet Operations to join our Digital Store Operations team at our Bethesda MD Headquarters. You will help analyze and improve the efficiency for Fleet and Hybrid delivery across the country. You will work with partners from different departments and take ownership of strategic projects that could lead expanded digital operations while managing a fleet of 60-80 vehicles. You will:
- Process day-to-day operational functions supporting Fleet Operations including Fleet hardware and equipment management (Dispatching, Telematics, Fleet Management, and delivery equipment) as well as Fleet Vehicle Management.
- Work with accounting to ensure all billing is accurately reported and completed timely.
- Work with business partners to create policies, processes and documentation to improve efficiency and meet compliance requirements.
- Create store communications that are accurate, clear, and concise to instruct, collect, or inform of store operating procedures.
- Promote communication and cross collaboration between departments to drive results.
- Establish training materials, such as quick reference guides, discussion guides, eLearning content, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously assess procedures to improve store efficiencies and sustainability.
- Address customer inquiries and analyze issues and roadblocks to offer appropriate solutions.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze corporate, field and store feedback to provide effective solutions.
You will come with:
- BA/BS degree OR 2 years relevant experience OR 3+ years of experience as a Total Wine & More Assistant Store Manager OR experience as a Business Analyst of process and policies (for any corporation.)
- Ability to actively participate and communicate effectively in training sessions, meetings, and presentations in person and through email, telephone, and conference calls.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills and ability to analyze questions and develop clear and reliable answers.
- Strong quantitative, statistical, and data analysis skills with ability to identify and solve problems.
- A strong, self-directed, and highly driven business sense and professional presence.
- Understanding of querying relational databases using MS Access or SQL.
- Project management certification or knowledge of project management best practices and/or tools (e.g., PMBOK, CMM) ideal.
- Fluent in MS Excel (building pivot tables), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Flexibility to work some weekends and holiday
