About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Lead, Digital Operations to join our Digital Store Operations team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will support the daily operations of Wholesale and Fleet programs, focusing on process execution, fleet management, billing accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help ensure operational excellence in hybrid delivery, wholesale fulfillment, and fleet operations while contributing to projects that expand and improve digital and wholesale capabilities. You will
  • Execute day-to-day operational tasks for Wholesale and Fleet Operations, including vehicle dispatching, telematics monitoring, delivery equipment tracking, and maintenance coordination
  • Partner with Accounting to reconcile billing, monitor financial accuracy, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support the development and documentation of operating procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across stores and field teams
  • Draft and distribute communications that provide clear guidance to stores on operational updates, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in creating training resources, guides, and reference tools to support store and field adoption of new processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to identify and resolve operational challenges
  • Monitor data related to fleet utilization, delivery performance, and wholesale activity; prepare reports and recommend improvements
  • Provide feedback to leadership on opportunities to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability within wholesale and fleet operations

You will come with
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in retail operations, business analysis, or fleet/wholesale support; prior experience at Total Wine & More is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, formulas) and familiarity with databases or SQL a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and feedback into actionable improvements
  • Familiarity with project management practices and tools a plus
  • Flexibility to support occasional nights, weekends, or holidays as business needs require
