About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance team in our Bethesda, MD office. You will leverage data driven and detail-oriented skills to forecast, analyze and report on distribution network operations and product profitability. This role interacts with several departments in the company, making it a great opportunity to learn various aspects of the business while putting your retail finance and analytical skills into work. You will provide decision-making support to our Finance and Supply Chain management teams. You will report to the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

You will
  • Use multiple software packages (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel) to analyze KPIs, and develop actionable reports that drive decision-making surrounding the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Prepare regular presentations assessing financial performance for senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models that support the annual budget and recurring forecast for supply chain costs.
  • Analyze actual supply chain expenses for variance to budget and prior year. Proactively identify areas of concern and potential improvements.
  • Develop and implement financial models to project future gross margin impacts as a result of supply chain cost changes.
  • Other ad-hoc reports and analytics assigned.

You will come with
  • 3+ years of experience as a financial or data analyst or consultant
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field with high GPA
  • Advanced in MS Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Experience with data modeling
  • Experience in retail/consumer products industry is a plus
  • Solid communication skills, written and oral

Salary Range- $70,470.00 - $114,400.00 Annually
