T otal Wine & More is seeking a Lead Analyst, Loss Prevention & Safety to join our Loss Prevention & Safety team at our corporate office in Bethesda, MD. This position will play a pivotal role, supporting across the department with inventory control programs and procedures, including cycle counts, physical inventory reconciliation, inventory management best practices, policy and procedures. This team member will also support with statistical reporting, record and evidence retention, training and program development, and KPI analysis. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsible, and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, while displaying a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Lead Analyst, Loss Prevention & Safety will report to the Sr. Manager, Loss Prevention & Supply Chain Operations.

The exempt compensation range for this position is $64,300 - $141,200. Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience. You will
- Analyze shoplifting and safety trends. Work with multiple department leaders to create solutions and Policies and Procedures to mitigate risk
- Assign and supervise LP Help Center tickets submitted by stores
- Create reports and dashboards that derive insights on LP KPI's
- Identify challenges, trends, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis to make strategic recommendations and solutions
- Develop training material, reports, and presentations for Regional Vice President/District Manager meetings, regional sales meetings, local meetings, and others
- Create and maintain LP & Safety Policy and Procedures
- Communicate regularly with Store Operations and Store Communications on projects, tasks, and urgent updates to store leadership
- Work with Supply Chain and Store Operations to reduce inventory discrepancies related to delivery issues.
- Create and distribute weekly and ad-hoc shrink reports
- Utilize the case management system to manage open incidents and create reporting for the department
- Assists VP, Director, and Regional Director, Loss Prevention (RDLP) with various long term and short-term LP projects and manages deadlines and deliverables
You will come with
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, with advanced skills in Excel, PP, and PowerBI
- Experience with SQL and Salesforce to extrapolate, manage, and report data
- 3 - 4+ years with inventory management and integrity, including cycle count programs, physical inventories, and inventory management programs
- Experience reviewing and deciphering KPIs and KPI dashboards to recommend changes to reduce loss and mitigate risk
- Proven track record of exceptional confidentiality
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects within time constraints and within a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of supporting multiple business leaders and stakeholders
- Takes initiative to learn, strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Treats others with honesty, fairness, and respect
- 2-4 years previous experience working in a corporate or business environment Loss Prevention experience, is preferred
