Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Associate of Internal Communications to join our Store Operations team in our Bethesda, MD office. You'll work collaboratively across the organization, supporting a strategy for enterprise communications, utilizing multiple channels both traditional and digital. You will bring a passion for creating connections and keeping teams informed through clear, concise and engaging content. You will have exceptional writing and content creation skills, and experience coordinating the logistics of executive leadership meetings. You will report to the Director of Communications.

The exempt compensation range for this position is $53,600-$114,400. Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience.

You will
- Develop copy and visual content for internal communication channels that align with Total Wine & More brand guidelines, tone of voice, and strategic priorities
- Own the process, intake and flow of weekly communications
- Create content for various executive leadership meetings
- Deploy communications via multiple channels following Total Wine's established weekly cadence
- Maintain and update company SharePoint site
- Coordinate and lead collaborative inter-departmental team communication meetings
- Manage communication, events and meeting calendars
- Provide support in coordinating logistics and at times content for executive leadership meetings and company's annual meetings
- Partner with store communications team to support enterprise communication needs
- Partner with Human Resources, Culture and Engagement team to support the success of company-wide training, community and DEI programs and events.
You will come with
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or Journalism.
- 3+ years of marketing, communications, or copywriting experience
- Experience writing descriptive, creative, and compelling copy to support messaging strategy across multiple channels
- Experience adapting to and refining organizational tone by audience
- Proficiency using SharePoint
- Advanced PowerPoint skills is a plus
- Working knowledge of design concepts and experience creating visual content (basic experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a bonus
- Ability to problem-solve and execute deliverables within dynamic, fast-paced timelines
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with diverse group of team members including field leadership, and executive leaders.
- Ability to actively participate and communicate effectively in/via training sessions, meetings, and presentations.
- Self-directed, highly driven, with a strong business sense and professional presence.
