Role Overview:
Fueled by diversity, our Chains & Market Director role at Untold Spirits invites you to blend innovation with passion, creating a spirited impact in the dynamic realm of premium spirits, and shaping the future. This high-impact role is responsible for driving achievement of volume and distribution goals for brands within the Untold Spirits portfolio, with emphasis on Chain accounts across all markets with distribution.  In addition, the role is also responsible for the targeted development of the Florida market Chains.  This position blends visionary sales leadership, in Chains and key markets, with a deep understanding of sales, market dynamics, and relationship management – with the goal of solidifying Untold Spirits as a leading spirits supplier.

Key Responsibilities: 
Sales and Commercial Execution 
  • Lead sales expansion by identifying, targeting, and securing partnerships with key on-premise and off-premise Chains within the Untold Spirits footprint.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that leverage local market insights, ensuring maximum visibility and access to the Untold Spirits portfolio.
  • Lead sell-in and support post-sale programming process, collaborating with the Marketing Team to and Untold Spirits Sales Managers across the footprint to create high-impact, tailored initiatives that drive brand engagement and loyalty.
  • Oversee strategic merchandising and brand presence, working closely with distributor teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment with sales objectives.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, leading high-level negotiations to secure favorable agreements that expand the brand’s market share and visibility.
  • Continuously analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and enhance execution, aligning resources to optimize outcomes.
Chains Relationship Building 
  • Build and expand a network of influential relationships across local, regional, and national accounts, fostering a brand presence that positions Untold Spirits as a preferred partner.
  • Engage closely with key stakeholders, including distributors, retail partners, and industry influencers, to amplify the Untold Spirits brand and cultivate long-term partnerships.
  • Attend industry events and participate in high-level networking opportunities, representing Untold Spirits to enhance its presence and reputation in the premium spirits sector.
  • Collaborate with local market managers to ensure a coherent local/regional chain strategy is implemented and executed upon 
Training and Development
·       Deliver comprehensive training to both distributor and account staff, instilling deep product knowledge, brand loyalty, and effective sales techniques. 
·       Support implementation of dynamic Point of Sale (POS) programs, orchestrating special events, sampling sessions, and educational initiatives – in concert with the Marketing Team – to enhance brand visibility and foster consumer engagement.
·       Develop and deploy training programs for distributor sales teams, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and execution of sales initiatives.

Distributor Engagement and Alignment
  • Set the example as a motivational leader for the distributor network, aligning their focus with the brand’s commercial priorities and ensuring cohesive execution across all markets.  
  • Establish a structured schedule of account visits and distributor engagements, fostering collaboration to maintain top-tier product standards and continuous alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner with distributor leadership to address market demands, optimize product availability, and reinforce consistent brand standards across all accounts.
Budget, Reporting, and Compliance 
  • Manage budgets meticulously, ensuring fiscal responsibility with seamless monthly reconciliation processes and proactive cost management.
  • Prepare and present data-driven sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure all sales practices are compliant with state & company policies/law. 
  • Uphold unwavering compliance with all alcoholic beverage regulations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and guidelines. 
Professional Experience/Qualifications: 
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience preferred. 
  • Must be 21 years or older. 
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in spirits sales, including 3+ years focused on Chains/National Accounts, with an established network of key account relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe; Working knowledge in CRM software platforms.
  • Reside in the assigned territory with reliable transportation 
  • Possess a valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle 
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory and 
  • Physical ability to lift and move cases of product frequently, coupled with comfort in various tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and stooping for arranging and displaying point of sale. 
  • Available to work some evenings and weekends as required for events and promotions.
